- I'm also posting this. Just use the same symbols on your keyboard
- when typing in the phone numbers in the modem setup where you put in
- the phone number. Usually( *70, 18185551234# ) for cancel call
- waiting, the comma gives you a pause and then dials the number.
- Some telephone switches accept the # as an "end of dialed number" to
- show you are done dialing and to begin call processing. Saves waiting
- 4 to 5 seconds.
- FYI the technobabble ( $5.00 words ) are * ( star ) # ( pound or
- pound-sign )
